We are providing 500 secondary schools across the UK with support to help encourage a new generation of game makers*
* Free software is provided for secondary schools with preference to those with high instances of students on free school meals or SEND students (see our FAQ for more details)
How it Works
1. Sign up
Register your schools interest in the programme by filling in a quick form. No further obligation or commitment needed.
2. Free Training
Training on using game design in the classroom begins in Summer 2021. All successful schools staff will be able to access live and recorded CPD sessions in easy bitesize chunks.
3. Free Software*
GameMaker Studio 2 provided for a full computing suite, with resource packs and teacher lesson plans included (see FAQ for eligibility).
4. Lift Off!
You will have all the resources to deliver games design sessions for your students. With regular access to games careers information, competitions and games industry speakers!
